Carin Lagerberg is a professional musical theatre performer currently based in New York City. Most recently, she has been in Mary Poppins (Mary) with Greater Ocean City Theatre Company,  My Fair Lady (Mrs. Eynsford-Hill/Ensemble) with Prather Entertainment Group, and White Christmas (Ensemble) at Little Theatre On the Square.

Originally from Knoxville, TN, Carin grew up in a family of artists and has been surrounded by art of all kinds from a very young age. It was not uncommon to find her composing silly songs at the piano, putting on solo dance recitals in the living room, or directing her friends in front porch plays. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Favorite credits at Samford include the musical version of Jane Eyre (Jane), The Light In the Piazza (Clara), and Steel Magnolias (Shelby).

Carin is also passionate about passing on her love of musical theatre to younger performers. She has taught workshops and classes to over 500 children, ages one to eighteen, across the country. Exposing a child to the arts for the first time and helping him or her grow is one of her greatest joys!

Offstage, Carin enjoys exploring new cities, gourmet cooking and baking, painting, and testing out NYC donut shops. Carin is a proud member of the Equity Membership Candidate program.
